Course Description

Texas Health Resources Faith Community Nursing program is offering a hybrid virtual webinar/on-line course which will provide registered nurses with specialized knowledge and skills for professional practice in a faith community setting.

The core curriculum focuses on:

• Spirituality
• Professionalism
• Holistic Health
• Community

Details: Five virtual webinar classroom meetings plus 7 weeks on on-line learning

All virtual and on-line learning components are required for successful completion of the course

Virtual Classroom Learning-Part 1 (3 virtual class meetings):

Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Thursday, July 10, 2025, 4:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Friday, July 11, 2025, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

On-line Component: seven weeks of independent learning

July 14 – August 29, 2025

Fee: $395

Special discounted rate for nurses employed by Texas Health Resources and nurses in a Faith Community Program Agreement.

Registration and Payment Deadline June 20, 2025

Space is limited, register early. Payment must be received prior to distribution of course materials.

Fee includes course materials, CNE credit, and Westberg Institute for Faith Community Nursing pin and certificate.
