I am so honored to have worked with you to move the specialty practice of faith community nursing forward. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. As a long-time educator and coordinator, I felt it important to let you know before the official announcement is made.
After 25+ years in faith community nurse leadership, I find it is time for me to change direction. I am stepping down as Director of the Westberg Institute, Director of the SCA Nursing Professional Development Provider Unit, and Director of the SCA Nursing Division. My last day is June 4. The 2024 Foundations curriculum is of sound quality and I have no doubt that educators and coordinators of your high caliber will continue to bring nurses into our specialty practice.
I am returning to the position of FCN Consultant and Lead Writer/Editor of PepTalk Productions LLC and will focus on guiding FCNs to develop their practice, sharing the stories of FCNs and assisting writers to publish.
