Health Promoter Course

 New Virtual "Health Promoter" Course starts in September, 2025.

Many faith communities would like to have a faith community nurse but are unable to find one!  This new course prepares staff and laypersons to lead efforts in health promotion within their communities.  If you already have an FCN, a health promoter can assist the FCN in this ministry as well.

The physical, emotional and spirituall health of your faith community members can impact the success of your congregation.  

Health Promoters work closely with faith community leaders to identify and respond to health-related needs of a faith community.   They help individuals by planning health promotion activities and providing support for those struggling with health issues.

While Health Promoters are not FCNs, they can impact the health and well-being of your congregation.   Please read more about Health Promoter training at:
